Recently I purchased Pedro paramo because it was hugely admired by favorite tamil author. But once I started to read it, I couldn't enter into the plot even though I had come to the 50th page, the language is really good and easy to read but I can't get a shape of plot in my imagination while reading. I don't get the hype. I don't know much about Greek mythology. But if that was the case where I had to have a bit of mythological background before diving into the book, it was a mistake picking it up. Regardless it's slow and I just didn't like it.
