US Intel Warns Russia, Iran & China Seeking to Influence Presidential Election | Firstpost America
The United States' spy agencies on Monday said that Russia, China, and Iran are all recruiting Americans to spread propaganda advancing their interests ahead of the US presidential election. According to the Office of the Director of National Intelligence, some American citizens have been knowingly helping foreign governments “seed, promote and add credibility to narratives that serve the foreign actors’ interests." The intelligence report further stated that other US citizens have been duped into aiding the foreign actors. Officials believe Russia is trying to help Republican presidential candidate and former President Donald Trump. Meanwhile, Iran is seeking to undermine his nomination.
