San Francisco is the primary airport to serve the Bay Area in northern California and is the second busiest airport in the state of California and on the west coast of the country. It serves as United's hub for Asian and Oceania routes and also is served by a lot of Asia and European airlines. Featured in this video is 50 heavy aircraft takeoffs from the best view from SFO!

I recorded this video on the top floor of the staff carpark for the air freight facilities. Sadly this spot in now no longer accessible due to the new viewing deck opening inside the terminal, however at the time of recording this video, there was no better spot to film the afternoon departures from. The day I recorded this was a stunning summers afternoon, rendering some of the most jaw dropping light the closer to sunset the day reached.

Amazing to realize that this video of so many departures minute after minute, hour after hour, day after day and multiply by hundreds of large airports across the globe and no real accidents! No planes "falling out of the etc. It is truly amazing! All tribute to the design, engineering, technological skills, and trained flying crews! These planes are so graceful and are in their environment; i.e. designed to fly at certain speeds; you can't keep them on the ground! Great video!
