Your question about the target audience is a good one. Being a generation older, we find the stories very entertaining as they bring back lots of memories common to many families. It is a little bit too fiddly and long for younger children, but a tremendously fun way to spend the evening with our grown kids.

Thanks so much for the great review. It helped me know that my kids are too old for this

NOW he tells me not to buy it, after I just did 2 weeks ago after long deliberation. ^_^ Nah, in all honesty, as a game designer I find invaluable learning points in having a 'dungeoncrawler' in a book like this and presenting a play-through narrative that is reflected in the design of components and game itself. And regarding the gameplay? I have a 13yr old son who is just getting into gaming and who might find other, more complex systems a bit too much to bite off in the first instance and a wife who also feels more comfortable around gateway games than hardcore gamer-type ones. So, all in all, I'm quite happy with Stuffed Fables! Thx!

loved the gameplay and everything. The story was a bit childish, but that’s why I’m looking forward to Comanauts. I think that could be a 10/10 for me. :)

4 "mixes" yet you played through the entire campaign with your son! It sounds like Hawthorne's mischief was managed... isn't that the whole point? ;) Dumbo's Flying Circus is not Space Mountain- it's not supposed to be. Love your channel and the enthusiasm of your playthroughs. ^^
