Great work. I would consider possibly dialing down the static, as it's not the right type of static associated with old cinema reel audio, but instead the "noise floor" you would hear when just starting to play an LP that is a little dirty. The mismatch diminishes the willful suspension of disbelief. A similar mismatch is happening in the visual grundge artefacts, which are not representative of the film format or era that is being simulated. Just watch some film clips from that era and you'll get the idea. Again, cool work nevertheless.
