Correction: the integrated in the arc length integral for unit circle is 1/sqrt(1-x^2) (instead of x^4)

The material is so well-organized that I got to spend most of the video appreciating how equations kinda wiggle onto the screen and then snuggle down into place. I don't think I've seen anyone else do it that way, and I love it. It's so much faster and cleaner than writing them out live, but also more engaging than just plonking them down into place. Kind of reminds me of a cat walking over and curling up in a sunbeam.

Riemann is so creative! He is one of my idol in mathematics

So it is again Grandmaster Riemann who cleared things up for the mere mortals.

Great video. I feel like an explanation this clear should have way more views.

love it when I see content of abstract math that you don't see a lot of, good job

3:49: I don’t understand how the arc length of an arc of angle ‘a’ of the unit circle is not just ‘a’ itself i.e., a=E instead of a=sin(E). Please help.

Came for the elliptic integrals, subscribed for the beautifully simple explanation and calming voice ❤

Omg i'm so impressed how did you manage to write such a concise content coursed in YT in such little time (give you started your channel this year). You're such a great explainer, hope much success to you! Are you an university professor? what's your research field?

Amazing video!! What program did you use to make your presentation?

This suggests a case of Stokes Theorem since there are 1-forms and Riemann surfaces are orientable manifolds
