I think the best combo that works for me is export the code and build a Wordpress theme, if you learn the basic hooks and queries you have your Webflow Wordpress site. Later you just update the css and make more page templates or single pages with a couple of plugins for post types. The sky is the limit and well a few js always help <3

You can have great customs designs with Wordpress templates. I created maybe 10 different websites, which look really different, with the same Wordpress theme (Stack). You need a basic amount of CSS & HTML knowledge, as you need with Webflow. I still prefer Webflow for extremely custom design but their CMS is way too expensive and doesn't support any plugins or basic CMS functionalities such as comments, registration, etc. Wordpress is simply much better in terms of CMS. I think Webflow is only better for static websites, building the front-end of apps, or extremely complicated websites. Also you have to take into considration that on Wordpress you host your own websites so you have that peace of mind, plus, you can edit every possible file.

Hi Ran, I'm a professional webdesigner/developer for the past 12 years now. I mainly work with Wordpress and used to write my own themes. But since this is a very time consuming job, I now often use Elementor for a quicker turnaround. With Elementor I can easily turn my designs into templates and with the use of ACF I can limit exactly what my clients can change. This workflow works great. The downside of working with Wordpress is the need for constantly keeping Wordpress and its plugins up to date. Also the output code could be so much cleaner. I often see Webflow ads and it piqued my interest. Some questions: Am I able to create templates with Webflow to use on multiple pages with dynamic content? Am I able to create whole themes? Can I limit what my clients can alter? Is Webflow a great tool for developers? Hope you can get back to me. Thx Pim

As much as I like Webflow, I still find myself using WP more. I use Cloudways and can clone a server with all my usual WP configurations in a click of a button. I hope the Webflow ecommerce experience is as impressive as woocommerce and the huge plugin library behind it.

Hi Ran, Thanks for the video. Just a heads up you need to work on Landscape responsiveness. Things are looking pretty wonky on iPhone 4, 5, 7 and 7 plus, Samsung S6, S7, S8 and S9, as well as quite a few versions of 7 inch tablets
