This week we hiked up to beautiful Emerald Lake, Colorado. Located in the Weminuche Wilderness, Emerald lake offers stunning views, and apparently some great fishing! We camped below the lake where the Lake Creek and Pine River meet, and made a day hike out of Emerald. Beautiful views no doubt a great hike rated 9/10 for sure!

Was just there last week with my son. We brought 4 liters of water between us. On the trail we met a young lady who, being the concerned type, asked us what our water filtration system was. We said we would boil water if we had to. She insisted we boil. But yours is the 2nd video about this trail I have watched, and I don't see you using a water filtration system. May I ask if you did? We did our boiling at the bridge.
