Chimaev to I want to fight all the time with anyone to missing almost a year. Unless it's an injury, there is no excuse not to fight. Khamzat’s situation is two fold. #1 his last fight was on 9/11 in the US. Do you remember his octagon interview? Absolutely got in trouble with Dana immediately after the fight.
#2 Khamzat’s connection with the Chechen warlord got his US Visa revoked so he’s limited on where he can fight. That likely impacts other western alliance countries too.
At this point if I was Khamzat, I’d be looking at other organizations like the PFL and One. The UFC is to heavily focused on the US market and venues for holding events. 🤷‍♂️ And as for Dana.. There are better bosses to work for. 🤷‍♂️ But Khamzat screwed up royally with his comments back after the fight on 9/11 last year.

Man they are hating on Islam. If Yair beats Volk it has absolutely nothing to do with the Islam fight. I'm betting on Yair to get the W. From how everyone is talking about the Whittaker and Du Plessis fight, it sounds like it’s gonna be a close match, no offense to Du Plessis but there is levels to the game and Whittaker is just a couple above . Will def enjoy the match, I’m hyped ! Good luck to both fighters !
