On 2nd and 3rd September, CERN’s 70th anniversary was celebrated in Germany with a series of events like CERN Stories and an official ceremony held at Futurium, Berlin. Guests and participants at the ceremony included representatives from the Federal Ministry of Education and Research, CERN Director General Fabiola Gianotti, DESY Research Director Beate Heinemann, and many more.
