UK vs US BOOK COVERS | 2021 Edition | Which One Should You Buy? (Part 2)

Chatting through some more new 2021 releases that have differing covers between the US and the UK. Which one's should you buy? Battle of the covers part 2.

For Midnight in the Everwood I have just realised that the cover with the clock is actually the Australian cover and not the US. Either way it is very pretty!

And also not sure what happened to the release dates for Billy Summers (3rd August) and Once Upon a Broken Heart (28th September) and why they didn't make it through to the final video.

that Midnight in Everwood is a Nutcracker retelling…would make a wonderful Winter read….but I definitely love the UK version

Not surprising the Abercrombie cover looks like there's a revolution going on, the artwork basically depicts the storming of the Bastille!

Empire of the Vampire is set to have like 12 different editors or some crazy amount. I have the B&N edition pre-ordered

The UK covers continue to be my favourites, hands down. The only exception here for me is the new Abercrombie. Most of the time, we have the US covers in Canada, but I wish we had the UK ones.

I want the UK Cytonic even though I have the US version of the first 2 books lol. I actually haven't ordered a copy yet because I am waiting to see if he does a special signed edition.

The UK Abercrombie cover had to be changed because they literally just put a banner with the Warcraft Alliance lion on it in front of a painting of the storming of the Bastille 😅

It's been so long since I've done one of these and they're so much fun! For all of them I preferred the UK covers apart from Stephen King's where I liked the US cover, and the Abercrombe book where I wasn't sold on either hahaha

The UK covers win by a landslide for me too! The only two I’m on the fence about are the Billy Summers one and the Nutcracker one. I might like the US cover more for those two, but easy UK win for all the others!

Loved this! I’m always double checking what the covers are like in the UK cause I tend to like them over the US version so thankful for book depository selling both options!!!

I like the UK covers better with all of these except for the nutcracker retelling, Abercrombie and King.

I mostly preferred the UK covers! But, I’m not fond of either of the Jay Kristoff covers 😬

I'm so excited for Jay Kristoffs new book and I also think that the US cover is ugly. But I love the UK one. 😍
I can highly recommend starting with Carrie if you want to read Stephen King one day. The things she has to go through are very cruel, it's not a book for everyone. But I loved the character work so much!

The UK Empire if the Vampire was made to match the Nevernight series

I almost always prefer the UK cover, but I hate the UK Jade Fire Gold cover. The two sides of it just don’t belong together to my eye. I also much prefer the US Abercrombie cover. The UK cover is just too busy and the green looks jarring.

I 100% prefer UK for Cytonic and Empire of the Vampire & US for Wisdom of Crowds & Billy Summers. The others are toss ups for me.

We will agree to disagree on the Skyward covers.
Oh boy, that new Abercrombie book looks like a FatF book.

I thought we shouldn't judge a book by its cover...congrats on passing 2000 subs by the way...
