I've reinstalled the whole thing like 3 times because i had this problem before and it fixed, but wasn't working this time, then i searched and your method worked just fine.

OH, Thanks a lot, it works properly in my photoshop cc2014. in 2023 i found out this 4 year old tutorial for photoshop problem solving and it works.

Doesn't work work me. I've tried changing the memory to half my actual ram, full ram, doubled the amount of ram, i still get the "an integer between 96 & 8" error whenever i try to get into the preferences menu, & i'm still only able to edit one pic at a time, whereas i used to be able to batch edit 40+ at a time. the only tab on the preferences i can access, is the scratch disc tab.
