Canon Eos 300D Review and Why I bought it!

I will soon be launching a new youtube video series on budget photography using cheap camera(s) to take some awesome images! This is why I bought this camera but before I will make the video series, I would just like to make a video review to kind of introduce it first.

this camera is just as good as the day it was released it still takes  nice photos as the day it came out on the market there is a difference in having a need and creating a need

i did buy canon EOS rebel 300d and i m really happy with it .. i just want to take a picture that all i want .. if i want making video..i will use my go pro that all

I got this camera as well but my problem is is that it has dirt or dust somewhere in the body it's self or in the lenses and I can't get it out, if I look through the eye view I see specs though the image, the local shop wants to charge about twice as much as the camera is worth to clean it... any suggestions??

Harder to recommend this camera now in 2024. Not that it's a bad camera but it did have a design fault with the sub mirror pivot pin (plastic so it's common to break killing the AF function) and rubber grips tend to degrade and melt. The other problem is that newer models have dropped in price to meet it. Why get a 300D when the 350D or 400D (or even the more pro 10D/20D/30D) cost the same and handle better. My old 300D despite having both faults mentioned is still fun to play with but i wouldn't buy another.

Thanks for the video. I have just moved not far from a military air base and looking to get a cheap camera to take some plane shots. Would you say for a total beginner a dslr or a bridge camera would be better to learn with please. Don't want to spend a fortune in case I don't get tonuse it that much.

You wouldn't drive a perfectly good 10 year old car into a lake just because it doesn't have the very latest gizmos.
A beginner photographer wouldn't know the difference between an EOS300D and the newest DSLRS.
Git to a beginner or to charity. Stop polluting swimming pools.
