[Animation] A New Generation But a Bit More Realistic

I am so sad my ending bit ended up longer than the animation part itself . :(

I learned a LOOOOOT doing this one. I really want to make something more serious sometime but my current skillset probably would not work for it as well as silly stuff. Small steps I suppose.

A perfectly brilliant and fabulous animation as usual Pearmare i love it, once again you did a superb and wonderful job!!!

As for what you said at the end of the video about having an OC well, whatever you want your OC to be that's completely up to you i mean if you wanted it to be a pony then you could always create it using the Pony Creator that's how a lot of people including the popular mlp fans had their OC's first made, or if you wanted your OC to be something else like a Changeling or something, then i know an artist or two you could talk too about that...if you're interested that is.

A changeling OC could be cool for animation stuff like you said. But since you had queen Nuovo as a profile picture for quite a while you could also go with a Hypogriff OC. But that would of course also have the Hands/Claws problem.

As long as it isn't a black and red Alicorn you'll be fine.

I would really like to have an OC too but until I find someone with at least marginal drawing talent to design one with me I'm gonna stick with "Derpy: Princess of Muffins".

Interesting, I also never had an OC and never felt the need for one. Hope whatever you decide on, you will be happy with.

Sprout being locked up in prison was THE most realistic part of all of this.
However, I do have a couple of criticisms and one suggestion:
Q1: How come Derpy appears in between each shot? I feel like that would have worked better as its own animation.
Q2: Considering how most of the video ended up being your announcement, I would like to know why you didn't have that also be a separate video? The animation itself is perfectly fine, but these other parts feel out of place in context.
Suggestion: How about making your OC a yak? Probably the most underused species of the main creatures in MLP.

-> You were using a pic of Queen Novo as a "placeholder" before you made your O.C.
[Theory] Your current OC looks like a hippogriff, but its actually secretly a changeling (because its practical for animation stuff, as you probably learned from Sawtooth).

An OC is not a must. I've gone back and forth with the idea myself. However, through collaborations it kinda got developed. I have this one video "I Am Horse" where the details are detailed in the description.

I believe someone did mention something about you having a Hippogriff OC because of your Queen Novo picture, but they got "hands" which you didn't really like. But you could just keep yourself to the waters as a Hippocampus/Seapony. Alternatively you could use this image as a base for a pony. Same colors, same feel, but with all 4 hooves.

I really laughed about it so hard. But the video as such is really brilliant. More of this in the future please ;-)

And if you want to do an OC, do that. But do it only for yourself, and not to meet the expectations of others. However, from my own experience I know that creating your own OC can be a lot of fun. ;-D
