This shank right back here is what will slide into your vehicle's two inch hitch receiver. And right upfront is the ball platform which will provide the mounting point for your hitch ball. Now, the hitch ball's not included. We do sell that separately on our website. The ball hole in here is designed to accept the hitch ball with a one inch diameter shank.

This is a heavy-duty steel construction. Has a zinc primer, then a powder coat finish to resist corrosion. And right in this section right here is where the shock absorbing design is. It'll ensures a nice, smooth, steady ride. The technology will function like a torsion axle to limit the transfer of road shock from your trailer to your vehicle and vice versa.

Inside that tube, they have rubber cords which will prevent the bar from twisting too far. As the bar turns, these cords compress to absorb the shock. So, there's no airbags to maintaining and fewer moving parts to repair or replace than with some of your other shock absorbing solutions. As you can see, there's five rows of holes here, so you just bolt this to a position you need. It is an adjustable height, so it'll let you tow trailers of different heights with the same vehicle.

Right here, you can see the two hitch pin holes. It is designed to accept a 5/8 inch diameter hitch pin or a hitch lock. The hitch pin and clip or the hitch lock, we do sell separately on our website. They are not included with this part. And again, if you already have one, if it's a 5/8 inch diameter, it would work in there. This is SAE J684 certified. It is made in the USA. Application, again, it fits two inch by two inch trailer hitch receivers. Maximum drop you can put this platform in is six inches. And it cannot be used in the rise position. Gross towing weight on this is 7,000 pounds. Tongue weight is 700 pounds. But that should do it for the review on this Gen-Y Glider shock absorbing ball mount for two inch hitches with the six inch drop and a 7,000 pounds gross towing weight capacity..
