🚀The NIACL AO Recruitment 2024 for Administrative Officers (AO) has been announced by The New India Assurance Company Ltd (NIACL), offering a total of 170 vacancies for Generalists and Specialists in Scale-I cadre.

1. Vacancies and Posts:
Total Vacancies: 170

Generalists: 120
Accounts (Specialists): 50
Category-wise distribution:

Generalists: UR-50, SC-18, ST-8, OBC-32, EWS-12
Specialists: UR-21, SC-7, ST-4, OBC-13, EWS-5
PwBD Vacancies: 13 across different categories such as Hearing Impaired, Visually Impaired, etc.

2. Eligibility Criteria:
Generalists: A candidate must have a graduate/postgraduate degree in any discipline with 60% marks (55% for SC/ST/PwBD candidates) from a recognized university​

Specialists:

Accounts: Must have a CA/Cost Accountant qualification or MBA Finance/PGDM Finance/M.Com with 60% marks (55% for SC/ST/PwBD).
Age Limit:

Minimum: 21 years
Maximum: 30 years as of 01.09.2024
Relaxation: SC/ST (5 years), OBC (3 years), PwBD (10 years), and

3. Selection Process:
The selection process comprises:

Phase-I: Preliminary Examination (Objective) – Total 100 marks with sections in English, Reasoning, and Quantitative Aptitude.
Phase-II: Main Examination (Objective + Descriptive) – Objective test with 200 marks for Generalists and Specialists (additional section on professional knowledge for Specialists), and a Descriptive test of 30 marks.
Phase-III: Interview – Candidates shortlisted from the Main Exam will face interviews. The final selection will be based on a 75:25 weightage of the Main Exam and Interview​.

4. Salary and Emoluments:
Basic Pay: Rs. 50, 925/- per month.
Gross Emoluments: Around Rs. 88, 000/- per month in metropolitan centers.
Additional benefits include National Pension System (NPS), Gratuity, Leave Travel Subsidy (LTS), Medical Benefits, Group Personal Accident Insurance​
