Texas Supreme Court rejects challenge to restrictive abortion law

The state’s highest court has rejected a challenge to the restrictive abortion law brought by more than 20 women, all of whom had faced serious medical complications with their pregnancies.

A 70+ male gynecologist has yet to retire due to strict abortion laws. He works about 30min. from El Paso as doctor in the state of New Mexico. He gets patients from Texas every year that come to his clinic. This was reported in 2022 and doctor allegedly still works while the clinic is still open in Santa Teresa, NM. People without medical degrees shouldn’t be making laws towards patients with a uterus.

I have a friend that almost died as she was pregnant in her fallopian tube, not her uterus . She was dying and in the ER, she is alive today because the ER saved her life .

You know my father when he had dementia right before he died if you sat there and talked to him about driving bus, he could talk all day about it, where the stops are where he goes. Abortion should NEVER be a "normal" method that you use just like contraception. BUT if you are mentally, physically or, even if that is an unacceptable circumstance in my eyes, financially unable to carry, deliver or care for a child, you should, at no point, be forced to continue a pregnancy against your will.
