Modern Sonic Adventure 2 v5.0: FINAL VERSION!

The Final Version of Modern Sonic Adventure 2 5.0 is here!!! This could be the last build of Modern Sonic Adventure 2 in general actually. Dexterity and AeroIncarnated did such a great job creating this mod. There is so many new things to cover, I go over some of the biggest changes for now. I will be doing an Entire Playthrough of version 5.0 sometime in the next couple weeks. Stick Around until the end to see the new models for Super Sonic and Shadow!!!

EDIT 2: This ain’t the final version. V6 is in development and it’s the final version of the mod. I wasn’t happy with how 5.0 turned out as there was still lots of improvements, fixes and additions that need putting into the mod. Me and Aero rushed 5.0 for a New Years 2020 release and that wasn’t the best idea. You can check my channel out for little sneak peaks of the 6.0 update for MSA2.

Some of these changes I really enjoy. I like that Metal Sonic and Amy seem to actually have stages now (even if they are reskinned versions of existing stages). Some of the revamped music sounds great, and the voice clips can be heard without the horrendous audio mixing from the original game drowning it out.

However... I feel like some things were lost in translation... such as Dr. Robotnik warning Sonic that if he doesn't rush through Crazy Gadget, Amy will die. Also, I feel the new audio featured in Knuckles Aquatic Mine is WAY too loud and heavy. Aquatic Mine's theme was very calm and relaxing, hearing it turned into such an awkward track kinda ruins the tone of the original level. It works for stages like Pumpkin Hill and Wild Canyon, but not Aquatic Mine personally.

Overall though, this mod has a hell of a lot of work put into it, and it truly shows. This looks like one of the ideal ways to play this game now.
