I can't wait to see Morgan in the olympics! She has such a great potential.

Morgiboo has improved so much on her swing and rhythm !!!
And I think some gymfans needs to stop saying that USA can't swing bars, we have good workers on all apparatus :> . No question that Ms. Hurd earned this title.

This might sound weird, but I love the way Morgan salutes. To me it’s just another thing that makes her seem more professional (not that she isn’t). A lot of gymnasts bounce around in their salutes, and they just rush through it and seem so flustered. The way Morgan salutes is very calm and it has a nice finishing touch to the routine (which, btw, what freaking EXCELLENT) that I think many gymnasts lack. Her hands and wrists are also nice, they don’t flop and break (Riley McKusker, I can’t spell her name =/ has that and it annoys me because she’s a really good gymnast but her wrists kill me).

Where the judges trying to make a point of some sort? Scores were preposterously low on all apparatuses except vault.

I so wish she could make it to an Olympic Games, she has such charisma. Unfortunately I don’t foresee it happening.

I think she was underscored, but only by one or two tenths. You could take 0.3 for that landing which would be the difference in the deductions I took. The pak is a problem for the angle she catches at but the rest was very minor and small.

How? How did mortgage get an 8.1 when she didn't miss 1 handstand and she had tremendous rythym throughout Mai was given an 8.0 with a choppy, catches too close, missed handstands and just not even in the same field as Morgan today not getting it at ALL

Hmm her execution score seems a a little low.. Expected a few tenths more for this routine

Everything was perfect! The only deduction I saw was the small hop on the landing

To me her e score should’ve been 8.5ish

The execution scores in this quad are even tighter than the previous quad. I expect it to smooth out closer to 2020, but it's a little discouraging watching a routine like this and realizes that judges managed to find 1.9 points in errors. My guess is that they took off 0.5 rather than 0.3 for her inbar 1/1, and on some other handstand errors they probably went went 0.3 rather than 0.1.

This routine should score in the mid to upper 8s by the end of the quad.

They never should have changed the deductions since 2016 it's just stupid the scores that we see are so low and something like this should have a much higher score because even with this d score in 2016 it could have gotten that high I just don't understand it's so stupid I think if something is beautiful it should have a high score that's just my opinion

- 0, 1 for the Stalder 1/1
- 0, 1 for the insuffisance height on the Tkatchev
- 0, 1 for the leg separation on the handstant
- 0, 1 for the insuffisance height on the Ricna
- 0, 1 for the Pak
- 0, 3 for the handstand and - 0, 1 for the insuffisant extension
- 0, 1 for the insuffisance height on theToe-On shout (hips under the High Bar)
- 0, 1 for the In-bar 1/2
- 0, 3 for the Forward Giant 1/2
- 0, 3 for the In-bar 1/1
- 0, 2 for the Dismount (flexed feet + feet separation)
- 0, 1 for the Hop on the landing
= -1, 9 => E-Score = 8, 1
The score was fine.
