Mario’s slap may cause explosions, but Yoshi’s is more powerful. However, Kirbo was created with two holy slaps of paint, thus making him the most powerful.

Yoshi - Fastest and most impactful. Seems to be consistent among his species, even the obese ones
Mario - Mirrors those of yoshi, who raised him (sort of). Not affected by his speedrunning, but the impact seems to be somewhat larger
Kirby - Not as fast or quick, as much as he wants, but can be done much more rapidly
Luigi - Mirrors his brother, cannot be done as rapidly
Link - Not as effective due to use of weapons
Fox - Not as effective due to melee
Olimar - Wake Up Slap

Palutena - Probably COULD be the best slap but she chose to use a whip/belt. -shouldve been a chancla smh-

Speaking of slaps, I thought it would be cool if Yoshi was the one that taught Mario how to slap like that. Then later in the series, it all comes down to Yoshi being able to land that slap if speedrunner Mario is still too out of control.
Just an idea.
