The Tour de France professional cycling race is fast approaching! Pro Cycling Bets breaks down the top ten favourite cyclists in the betting markets who are headed to the Tour de France.

We're building out a site dedicated to sports betting on pro cycling and increasing engagement for a burgeoning North American audience. We're focused not just on the pro peloton but demystifying the world of sports betting. We'll try to provide answers to a variety of frequently asked questions that may be holding individuals back from placing bets.

Alongside that we'll be offering up odds, betting advice and favourites for all cycling races on the peloton's calendar. We're targeted to punters - but our essence is that we're open to all and hope to expand and empower the next generation of sports bettors.

Edits: The stat about Gaudu finishing 2nd at the Giro in 2022 is incorrect! We meant that to be for Carapaz. We're not at the require "YouTube level" yet to be able to put a card there though.

Pogacar No. 2 and what numbers are favouring Jonas? Lets just see this year races - Pogacar: Jaén Paraiso 1st, Vuelta Andalucia 1st, Paris-Nice 1st, Milano-Sanremo 3rd, E3 Saxo 3rd, Tour des Flandres 1st, Amstel Gold 1st, La Flèche Wallonne 1st, Liège-Bastogne-Liège DNF due crash (probably would won this too). Vingegaard: 2nd O Gran Camiño 1st, Paris-Nice 3rd, Basque Country 1st. Don't get me wrong, Vingegaard is great but Pogacar is surley ahead (and like Merckx he races everything from classics to tour). Vingegaard is all in for TDF (like Armstrong), but as a complete rider we like Merckx (Pogacar) more. And I'm sure that Jumbo will bring Roglic to the tour (even if he's not 100% but he's still top-top rider) just to give Pogacar more problems - like last year 😉

lol, you all need to stop saying that Jonas was a fishmonger, he wasn't! BUT when started out seeking a professional career in cycling he got a part time job at a fish factory that apparently was always helpful to young upcoming pro cyclists. Michael Valgren Hundahl (EF Education-Nippo) used to have the same job when he started out.

Wout van aert 9th favourite 😂😂😂 Sepp Kuss would be a better bet lmao

This is how i view it (in terms of most likely winners):
1. Pogacar
2. Vingegaard
3. Mas
4. Landa
5. Hindley
6. Carapaz
7. Simon Yates
8. Gaudu
9. Ben O'Connor
10. Martinez (ineos's best hope oof)

Now the real outsiders:
11. Adam Yates (if something happens to Pogacar)
12. Sepp Kuss (if something happens to Vingegaard)
13. Jorgensen
14. Bernal
15. Bardet
16. Pidcock
17. Skjelmose
18. Meintjes
19. Guillaume Martin
20. Mike Woods

Wow i got to 20, hope I didn't forget anyone relevant

Many of the rider achievements mentioned in this video are incorrect… for e.g. Gaudu was not 2nd in the 2022 Giro, it was Richard Carapaz who was 2nd…

Jonas body transformation this year just watch a time trial from this year as opposed to 2021 or 22' even. Ive been fan of sport since 80s i understand the landscape but enjoyment i get watching the spring classics will never be matched by tour other than veing a fan of the ralent in generation hindley has shades of pistolero in climbing posture really fun to see. Tadej is fascinating he has such imagination how ge rides. Wout, sepp, primoz, dvb, highly improved laporte from cofidis days. Theyre physically superior to ither teams but like giro they handle issues and team dynamics better than any since 2019 giro disaster that cost primoz. Jonas is first rider that trying to be as objective as possible makes ne as uncomfortable as froome did. Strava standout to tour champ i know internet had changed a lot but jonas wasn't 15 or 17 year old junior that then won lavenir he came in in 20s well beyond the years where fast twitch muscle like has added is normal. Id live to see primoz going for double, tadej, hindley, ineos, gaudu etc. He seems like really nice guy all athletes are competitive in race just awkward.

What you expect from Cicone? Can he win some days? Or why he didn't start the Giro?

Por dios pidcock y Egan Bernal, siendo que Daniel Felipe Martinez va de jefe de filas en el ineos y ciconne ni siquiera lo mensionaste, de hecho Adams o Simon Yates pueden estar a la par de Wood Van Aert
1° Pogacar
2° Vingergard
3° Evenepol (Va a paticipar)
4° Daniel Felipe Martinez
