My strut top nut is recessed a bit.. I just use an open ended offset wrench and an allen socket with a ratcheting wrench. Crows foot socket for torque wrench on final turn.

How do you go about tightening the nut back up to the correct torque when refitting?

Question: why are you undoing the strut nut on the car? Isn’t that dangerous? That’s what I’ve been told in auto shop class.
