Let's hope it isn't blurry like the Hubble was originally.

This is the best news I've heard all year. I'm very excited for this telescope.

Since it was supposed to launch in 2007, is it running decade old hardware? Or did they upgrade as technology got better? I'm not sure if telescope tech changes that much over time though, so I'm curious.

I’m guessing once they start looking farther than ever before, they will probably see aliens watching Looney Toons cartoon reruns.

Awesome news! NASA can take a while to follow through on projects. I remember working with the think tank that designed the Parker Solar Probe back in 1999. It's due to do its mission next year.

The JWST is taking longer to get ready than my girlfriend.

I was starting to wonder if I would live to see this thing launch.

Truly a career long build that was gobbled up by a defense contractor. We the people should have 4 of these by now, for this money and time

We need just ONE more Space Shuttle mission. Because the Hubble Telescope has turned out to be a significant entity in the history of humankind. That thing belongs in a museum for future generations to remember!
