I think Ryzen is fine being the cheaper alternative now because it is still really strong unlike before. Of course it stomps in some applications though. I like my 1700.

I got the 1700x 2 days ago going from the 6600k and it's a world of a difference. Able to stream overwatch flawless with so many tabs and different apps open. Got a amazing bin also able to hit 4.1 flawlessly!

Auto overclock is a cool feature, however i'm with Jay that they need to ask your permission first or at least put a big ass note on the box

differences appear to be marginal at best with Adobe Premier the outlier... exactly what the public should expect as the Ryzen was more of a production CPU, gaming performance will generally be slightly lower due to lower core clock speeds.

After reading through your comments for 15 minutes, I wish that was time of my life I could get back. These people are absolutely ridiculous, it reminded me of being back in Elementary school. "Vega Sucks Balls", "Jays a Shill for Intel", "Coffee Lake is a Campfire", and on and on and on and on.

Do we not watch this content to learn about the newest technology, so we can make an informed decision on what is best for our individual use cases? Every single one of us has a different use for each piece of Technology that comes out. That's what makes PC's so awesome, we can mix and match different technologies together to make a computer that is best for our own use case and our own budget. People like Jay just help us come to that conclusion. And its not like we just watch Jay, and if we do we are dumb. We need to take what he shows us, and mix it in with other respected Youtubers and Reviewers, do our own due diligence and research, and when we are ready, we will purchase what we think is best for us. Just because I chose Intel, doesn't mean your wrong for choosing AMD. And to call people names because you feel they made the wrong choice, that's just childish...

Good Video Jay, sorry for the bratty children you must have to deal with on a daily basis. I assure you there are normal people who watch and appreciate you, who just don't have the time to sink into this armpit of puberty that is the comment section.
