Nick is a STAR!! No matter what kind of weather he is grabbing hold of huge lumber, stones, blocks; pails of mix. He works harder and longer than guys half his age. Hey Dan!! I’m a little old(not too old) lady that lives in rural Arkansas and I’ve been watching from very early on. At first I thought you were absolutely crazy. Why did you buy a ruined chateau with trees growing in it. I truly thought you were crazy. Haha. Now I’m still watching and I am amazed at the progress you’ve made!! It looks so good! I love all the timber framing and watching the process and how you have stayed true to the original building. I am writing to apologize for thinking it couldn’t be done and to tell you how very impressed with your accomplishments, especially how you’ve done it with so little help. I am always amazed with how much Dan is able to accomplish with the help of Nick and other friends. But I have also noticed that having great tools has helped speed up the process and more specialized tools have helped Dan improve his craftsmanship skills.
