Dashcam video shows arrest of Princeton professor

Princeton University professor, Imani Perry, claims that police mistreated her after a parking ticket arrest. These are highlights taken from the roughly 30-min. video. 02/11/16

The most polite arrest I ever have seen. Offered to let someone pick up her car, did not tow her car, offered to drive her to work after she was released. What more could they do?

Claims that she was mistreated? wow, talk about a victim mentality

1. Why was her face blurred out? If there are warrants for her arrest then she is no better than any other criminal. 2. The officers were way too accommodating. Anywhere else the vehicle would be impounded, she should have been arrested for driving on a suspended license along with the warrant.3. I can't believe how nice these officers were. They were going to drive her to work? Wow. 4. Ms Perry actually accused these officers of being racists. If anything, the officers were overly cautious and friendly because they KNEW she might make a claim like this to draw the attention away from her criminal activity. MS PERRY IS A DISGRACE. SHE SHOULD BE CHARGED WITH FALSE ALLEGATIONS. SHE SHOULD MAKE A PUBLIC APOLOGY. SHE SHOULD AT LEAST BE SUSPENDED FROM THE UNIVERSITY TO TEACH HER A LESSON...LYING AND PULLING THE RACE CARD IS WRONG.

These Police Officers should be commended for how they treated this woman and their courtesy, how nice they were, how they even offered to take her back to the University, this is how Policing should be, a big well done officers

Her statement later on: Oh my Gawd, I was just assaulted by two white nj state troopers! I was cooperating with them but was fearing for my life because they were white, and they only pulled me over because I'm black, and I dindunuffin! They drug me out of my car and threw me down to the pavement hard and handcuffed me while using racial slurs. I was so scared, I thought for sure that these white cops were going to kill me, because I'm black! I'm still shaking! I couldn't even go into work because I was traumatized by those two white cops that brutalized me, only because I'm black!
