The US Department of State has recently published the visa bulletin for November 2024. In the bulletin, Africa region cut-off number is 15,000 for both November and December (with the exception of Algeria, Egypt, and Morocco, whose cut-off numbers are much lower). With the month of December around the corner and so few applicants having received their 2NLs, what does this mean? Should you be concerned about your case? At this moment in time, I would say no need to worry. The US embassies in Africa and in other regions are only at the beginning of the fiscal year 2025. The early months of the DV Program tend to be slower. So, if you are an applicant, please exercise patience and keep abreast with the monthly visa bulletin publications. This will help you keep track of your case range and when you're likely to go current. Yes! I have been selected in the 2025 Diversity Visa lottery. I submitted my DS - 260 successfully and have been waiting for my email to schedule an interview. I thought I read somewhere that all interviews have to be done by end October. Is that October of this year 2024, or October of 2025? I keep asking KCC about my application status and they only refer to bulletins which make no sense. How can we tell where our application is in the process? Can you do a video to explain the bulletins and/or where/how to look up our application status?
