The U.S. economy can actually get better if only the govt can start making better decisions for the sake of it's citizens, cos' they've really made life more difficult for its residents. Hyperinflation has left the less haves bearing the brunt of the burden. Its already eating into my entire $620k retirement portfolio. Like where else can we invest our money with less risks?

When groceries are up 20-40% consumers are spending more. It doesn’t mean we are buying more goods. They twist it

What a joke, speaking to someone who doesn’t live in the reality of most Americans and gaslighting. I am so sick of everyone saying we are doing fine. My household income is just over six figures a year with a family of six and are barely scrapping by every month.

I'm paying about 20% more for groceries alone and this woman tells me everything spectacular. What is she smoking? That's not to mention we're paying 45% more for gasoline.

Why do they say inflation is 3% when we all know it’s closer to 30%.

Inflation is still pretty high, and there's talk of another interest rate hike.

My husband has been driving a truck for 20 years with the same company. Usually this time of year they are busting their behind averaging an easy 2800-3200 miles in a 5 day week. Ever since 2021 he has been pulling 2000-2400 miles a week and is barely out 4 days, one week he only went out 2 days and we are using his vacation time to have his checks high enough to meet our bills. I have always told my friends to watch because as the trucking industry goes so goes the nation. People are only buying necessities, because they either cannot afford non-necessities or are holding tight to their money so freight is down.
