Why can’t people today embrace this logic

So true. Without capital incentive, nothing would ever be improved, including a person's efficiency at work. Why try harder to make a better mousetrap when you'll get absolutely nothing for your effort?

Public bureaucrats act in their own best interests at the detriment to the public. In the private sector if the consumer is screwed over the company won’t be in business long.

This guy wrote a thesis in the early 70s that went through the college business schools like a wildfire. We live in a greedy narssasitic, uncaring world today because of it.

All productive and creative accomplishments started and prospered under capitalism. There is no alternative system that has managed to rival capitalism.

We are so nearly there. You can almost taste it. Proof however is in the eating not the tasting .

His error is in not dileanating between self-interest and greed. Even if it is pure greed, free markets self correct it no matter.

There is another system but can humans find it?

I don't have a problem with greed. But there is an individual greed where I want only what's best for me, and a collective greed where we all want what's best for ourselves. Capitalism isn't powerful because it runs on greed but rather cooperation. There any many economic systems that allows us to cooperate to accomplish the tasks we need to survive and thrive.

Its that classic line Greed is good greed is right greed gets things done . No business man or woman would venture into a business or infrastructure if he wasnt going to make a truckload of money out of it . Greed creats jobs for the worker's puts food on the table roof over they're head

The mixed market is the best economic strategy and a government that promotes private enterprise and low corporate taxes as many corporations pass tax cost on to consumers eg value added tax

Capitalism runs on ambition. Socialism has no ambition.

0:34 - The true 'G' moment in this interview. MF's point is basically: Yes, capitalism is evil, but what better way do we have to reward evil?

And, if I don't self-delete, you're all going to prove me completely correct, aren't you?

He forgot to mention that unlike animalistic greed, human greed has no limits. In a society that encourages and rewards greed, of course, you can only create humans with favourable characteristics. In regard to those angels he asked for, don't you think they kill them off one by one as soon as they smell any resistance against their capitalism morality?

I get that capitalism also produces billionaires but it also pulls the most people out of poverty.
