I've tried these before! One of my past co-workers got me a box for my bday. They were amazing! One of if not the best donuts I've ever tried. So many crazy flavors that you'd never think of. Mochi donuts originated in Japan. I had mochi donuts in Japan YEARS before they came here to Hawaii.

I've had these back in the early 2000s in asia. They were already popular decades ago through a Japanese donut chain called Mr Donut, but I guess it's only catching on in America much later
