I Spent 10 Hours Painting Half a Painting

I spent 10 hours painting half a canvas, the first part was the light version of Hallowfall, this time we paint the dark version!

I really like that it doesn't line up perfectly, but close enough so you understand where it connects- it kinda gives the vibe that the right side is a more distorted version of the left size. Also, 10h is impressive, that looks really good

If anything, for me, the fact that they DON’T line up perfectly is what makes it so good. It highlights the differences between the two worlds, if that is even what the painting is about lol, as I don’t play those types of games, even though I am a gamer.

Reminds me of a comment an art professor said in college. He said do a painting in a way that challenges you. Do it in a way that is not easy not route challenges you to work in a new way with unintended results, process, methods or outcome. His example was do a whole painting with you left or non dominate hand.

Considering you did each half "blind" it works very well as a final piece.
I would be interested to see how it compares to you A: taking your time to do paint this whilst still covering each half and B: 10 hours on each half but being able to see both sides.
