Bolton makes prediction on Trump's political career after indictment

Trump was well known to ignore and fail to read his daily briefings. So one has to consider why, if he wasn't interested in these national security documents when he was in office, then what value do they have for him now? The implications point to nefarious intention.

What kind of democracy is the US, that would let a former president be above the law?! I'm so proud of my country and other developed european countries who prosecute politicians if they comit crimes, no matter who they are!

As a former Military Personnel Specialist with a Top-Secret Security Clearance, if I had taken documents home after my enlistment period (or even during), I'd probably still be in the Brig. SO if I, a Veteran couldn't get away with this why would it be OK for a Draft-Dodger to get away with it? The fact that neither he nor any of his children ever served in any branch of the U.S. Military speaks volumes about where their loyalties lie!

Trump had the opportunity to return these, but he chose not to, which is why this has become a case. As a person who is not American, Trump having National security documents from Foreign countries in a bathroom etc, which could include my country is shocking. Trump's actions affect the world stage, and the world is watching to make sure the US makes him accountable for risking such high-level classified information without any care.

There was a report that DJT would take "a plea deal". We say NO. The Nation needs to see him accountable to prove firmly that everyone is subject to the laws, including an ex president. If a Republican candidate is elected, he/she should NOT "pardon" this traitor.

Who's to say he didn't make photo copies and digitally stored classified documents somewhere? There could be literally thousands of cell phone photos of these docs floating around

Agreed, we need answers from the trial. An innocent person would not want to delay. A guilty person would want to delay in hopes of getting a pardon if/when a republican is elected president in 2024.
Holding people accountable no matter who they are and knowing the truth about their alleged crimes is paramount to sustaining the integrity and foundation of our republic democracy.
