Με αμείωτο ρυθμό συνεχίζεται η Ελληνοαμερικανική άσκηση Μέγας Αλέξανδρος 22, η οποία διεξάγεται κυρίως με τη συμμετοχή Ελλήνων και Αμερικανών πεζοναυτών, και φυσικά με τη συμμετοχή εναέριων και θαλάσσιων μέσων, σε διάφορες περιοχές της Ελλάδας.
Η άσκηση ξεκίνησε στις 2 Μαΐου και θα διαρκέσει έως τις 27 του μήνα, ενώ όπως ήδη βλέπουμε στην οθόνη μας, από φωτογραφίες και βίντεο που έχει αναρτήσει η Αμερικανική πλευρά, διεξάγονται ένα πλήθος εκπαιδευτικών σεναρίων, όπως απόβαση στην ξηρά, ανδρών και οχημάτων, με τη χρήση Χόβερκραφτ.
Ρίψη ανδρών και ταχύπλοων από ελικόπτερο.
Έλεγχος και ασφάλιση εσωτερικών χώρων.
Βολές σε πεδίο βολής, με διάφορα είδη πυροβόλων όπλων.
Απόβαση ανδρών στην ξηρά και ασφάλιση του χώρου.
