The Greenfield tornado was a major event from 2024's peak tornado season. NWS damage surveyors found evidence to suggest that the peak tornadic winds at ground level were at least 185 mph. Mobile Doppler radar measured winds ranging between 308 to 319 mph (496 to 513 km/h) at 38 yards (35 metres) above the surface.

Be thankful you don't usually have these in the UK. I live in the midwest and we get tornado sirens from time to time during thunderstorms - always a question of whether or not it'll pass by or not.

Has this ever been uprated to ef5. I believe they said a drone said there was like 300 MILE an hour winds or more. Was I misinformed. Or miss something else.
