Chuck Negron killed it! Definitely one of the greatest singers ever! I loved this first time I heard it in 69, still do. A very very successful group late 60s into 75 or so. Cory Welles other great singer did a phenomenal job covering Otis Redding Try a little Tenderness maybe their first song on the charts. Worth checking out.

Lead singer on this one is Chuck Negron, a brilliant singer with a huge range. Back in the day, he got messed up on heroin -- he's been quite frank about it in interviews, and wrote a book called "Three Dog Nightmare." He finally recovered and since has created a sucessful solo career.

TDN were huge in the 70's. One thing that set them apart was that they had 3 lead singers who were all very different.
