Eli's Coming, One, Just an Old-Fashioned Love Song, Joy to the World, Never Been to Spain, Shambala, Black and White, Mama Told Me Not to Come, ... so many awesome hits from this band. Yes, technically a "cover band" but they were SO DAMNED GOOD.

I am 73 and I remember being a 16 high school girl blown away by this group. It is so amazing to me that Emma is not from this generation and yet finds them so talented. I went to a concert and it was unforgettable. In WA state where I lived every band in every tavern I snuck in underage played Joy to the World.

They had so many hits and they were so popular. They're a band that is very talented but also easy to like, which is why they were popular I think. But, I would love to suggest one of their huge hits, to also give you even more insight into their singing and arranging, and this will really get into your head, it's that good:

They absolutely were my favorite group back in the 70's and still are!! This song is a classic along with so many of Three Dog Night songs! Cory Wells has such a soulful fabulous voice! Glad you enjoyed it!!

Eli’s Coming was written by the iconic singer songwriter Laura Nyro…she’s written so many great great songs…Stoney End, Wedding Bell Blues! Sooo many. She was an incredible talent.

Thanks for your great reaction and you are so right about the classic music! I don’t gravitate to anything music wise today!

Three Dog Night was one of the most popular groups of the late '60's into 70's. Extreme vocals and harmonies and lots of great tunes to enjoy: One, Celebrate, Joy to the World, Mama told me not to come, Old Fashion Love Song, Never been to Spain, Out in the Country, and a few more.
