Review and assembly of the full size Skyhunter 1800 kit. This is a very big twin boom pusher for long range FPV. It's an easy kit to put together with nicely designed components. Tail planes seen to be very thin and flexible but I'll test it as is and see if mods are required.

Flying weight with 2 x 3000 4S Lipos - 2.0kg
Servos - EMax 12g metal gear
Specs from the Banggood site
This full scale 1800mm wingspan Skyhunter is the most classical FPV airframe for long time, long distance and heavy load FPV flying, the unique twin-boom tail wing design makes the skyhunter flying super stable, the 1800mm large wingspan provide high efficiency elevating force, the spacious cabin offers very big room inside fuselage for FPV gear and up to 15000mah battery will provide long flying time. More than 14pcs carbon fiber strip and rod enhance the wing and body so it is very strong and solid during flying. It’s detachable mainwing and tailwing makes the Skyhunter easy for disassemble and take with.

I had to back these months later and let you know someone must be listening to you. I just got my Skyhunter from Banggood in. It looks like they watched your video and took your suggestion on the vertical stab, they added an additional piece of carbon in the kit and instructions on how to install it. They also have added a a piece of plywood to stick the bottom, it has slots for battery straps. Great video as always.

Hi Andrew, nice concise video of the "unboxing" and build titbits. It may be useful if you alluded to the types of glues you used on the various components. Take care of the launch not to get your hand near that "mighty" prop!! As mentioned already, I think you'll like the plane...

Wow, I'm most amazed that yours turned up in such good condition, every single plane I've ever received from Banggood has been damaged by a total lack of shipping protection. I now source them (with actual free shipping) elsewhere and the old crushed and minced days are gone. Best of luck with the maiden, we're really copping it weather wise..

Andrew, you'll have fun with this girl. I have three of them, 1 with landing gear, 1 a straight belly lander and 1 I've converted into a twin engine. You can do so much with these girls. Would love to see the mods you will be making, I'll also share mine with you.

Hi Andrew,
At 4:22 you show a carbon tube to be glued into the wing... Is that correct? I'm about to buy a Skyhunter and jumped onto the RCG thread for this plane and not seen anything about the tubes to be glued in??? It would be good if it is the case...???
Unlike the stupid idea of making all of the boom brackets the same!
As ever, thanks for the video....:-)

That's the plane that I'm doing for FPV Andrew flight, I increased it to 190cm wing, I do not have much to finish it, I'll show it to you, you'll tell how it flies. A greeting machine !!

Wow....that Fuz is huge....no problems getting your gear inside there Andrew....The omission of Rudders is a bit strange for a plane of this size. Rudders are used to maintain heading via the Autopilot. My Skywalker 1900 uses a 10 x 6 Cam prop and it has acres of spare power on 4S, this massive folder seems OTT...?

Andrew... I was thinking to myself... I bet Andrew wished it shipped with a foam box, he could of had a two for one airplane...  lol.  That would have made another good video.  I was glued to the tube over the Boxler, that was a cool video too.  Sorry for getting off topic,   the Skyhunter looks interesting. I am hoping the weather clears up to see that airplane fly. Thanks for sharing and I know there is a lot of work that goes into making those videos, I appreciate your time put fourth.

Nice! I wonder if it's easy to take apart for transport in smaller vehicle? Or could easily be made to be?

Andrew. Very nice video quality. Did you glue the tail booms into the wing sockets? I am considering it! Please let me know your thoughts on this. Thanks!

nice and big, like the vid. any thoughts on the motormount? motor, spinner and prop look heavy, having some doubts if nothing but glue will be enough as there's no structural support?
