TPOT 2 STATUS UPDATE!!!

On January 27, the finished TPOT 2 storyboard was approved, so we moved from pre-production to production! I'll be posting regular progress updates here starting in March (potentially earlier).

Additionally, measures are now in place to prevent pre-production from being this much of a bottleneck in the future!

Stay tuned! This'll be where you can see how TPOT 2 is going! I'll also include some storyboard screenshots, like I used to, but don't expect them to reveal too much 😅

4:42 It's so sweet that we get to see a montage of fellow BFB+TPOT contestants try to help Book, Donut, and Match. And even the announcer tried to help!

I like that yellow face and purple face have so much screen time! They usually appear every now and again, and seeing all the one time scenes from previous episodes is cool as well!

I like how everyone in the claw machine still existed after the death of the universe for comedic effect but the fact that the Announcer is still there has insane implications

I absolutely love the fact that both the BFB and TPOT characters are in this episode and that Book and Match were interacting with each other again. Sure does bring back the good ol' days of FreeSmart back in BFDIA! Anyway I'm so excited for TPOT 2 when it eventually comes out. :)

Honestly I think "Three people are trapped inside of a glass box, able to communicate with the outside world but never join it, for trillions and trillions of years until the heat death of the universe" might be the most mind-melting cosmic horror thing that's ever been proposed on BFDI

While the characters are dumbed down here, It makes sense since it’s a non canon short, plus they all keep their personalities, so it’s essentially just early BFDI, reminds me of IDFB (well it essentially is IDFB just without voting lmao) either way, I loved this, and seeing characters that aren’t used nearly as much get so many scenes in this video alone was amazing, awesome job as usual, can’t wait for whatever animation you make next, short or not :P
