I guess Gore-Tex is breathable compared to wearing a zip lock on your foot. In warm weather it is pointless in a low cut shoe .

The number one boot Danner fails to mention that they are not waterproof - CON - definitely.

These are all glorified tennis shoes. There is no real ankle support in any of these shoes. I'll just buy a low high quality boot.
