Normal Force is NOT Weight - Demo on a Scale

In this demonstration, you will see a common misconception addressed: normal forces (or forces of contact between two surfaces) are NOT the same thing as an object's weight. We get confused by this because we usually use devices such as scales in a configuration where they are horizontal, but - as the demo shows - once you change the geometry a little bit, things change.
