Greece is the luckiest land in the world with the luckiest people that have such a beautiful country. Culture, history and sun is
infinitely wealth and that is why greeks are one of the richest people :)

you forgot to advice them not to lose their jobs they spend 11 months working on every year, just to get to Greece for some holidays and taste a little bit of magic. We love our chaos, the crisis YOU brought us, and we'll never lose our smile! Stay strong, stay Greek. We will prevail. Who cares about money? When you invented it, we had already spent it! Thank you

Latin borrowed a large number of words from Greek, but it's not accurate to say that Latin itself is derived from Greek. The two languages are separate developments from a common source, which is known today as Proto-Indo-European.

Anyone ever heard the term, 'It's like shooting fish in a barrel?' As for me, I think I will stay away from such large gatherings. Thanx for the video upload!

Not all of us Greeks are like that. There is 50% unemployment so half of us are out there looking for a job or left the country for a job. These people here are the rest 50% that have rich parents, so they have plenty of time to party and dance.

I don't think that "poor" is the right eord to describe us. Fucking money isn't the main reason to live.Love is the best/main reason to live, and believe me, every greek is full of love and kindness. :*

The Latin alphabet is derived from the Greek alphabet and so does the language to a certain point. Thus, it is also not accurate to say that Latin did not derive from Greek. It was not just words, more than half of the grammatical phenomena in Latin are identical to Greek ones, with no other languages bearing such similarities, for obvious reasons.
We are taught both Ancient Greek and Latin at high school here and yes, the resemblance is uncanny.
And these are solid facts any linguist knows.
