Avengers: Infinity War is the culmination of over a decade's worth of work by Marvel Studios, and the fourth Marvel film Weta Digital has been part of. Weta Digital was responsible for the entire third act set on Planet Titan—the battleground for Thanos’ final showdown.

We received four VES Awards, the HPA Award for Outstanding Feature Film VFX, and the Golden AEAF Award for Feature Film VFX, and were nominated for an Academy Award® for Best Visual Effects for our work on Avengers: Infinity War.

They truly are the best studio in the world. Thanos was photo-realistic. It blew my mind.

Thanos' home planet is the setting for the final showdown, where our heroes engage in one of Marvel's most epic battles yet. We created every inch of it from the moment the Q-Ship hits Titan's wasted ground, to the grim departure of our heroes as Thanos carries out his devastating plan.

It's an incredibly visual effects heavy, multifaceted sequence featuring extensive effects techniques as the Avengers and friends throw everything they have at Thanos. We made new suits for Iron Man and Spider-Man, built Titan from the ground up, and created a performance with soul and gravitas for Thanos as he reveals his plan to refashion the universe.

I am so happy and not surprised that Marvel got weta to do one of the most important scenes in Marvel history. I don't think anyone else could have done it better. also i assumed thanos's chin was sculpted by weta? so good! hahahaha
