I loved this film and I'm grateful that Tom Chi shares his knowledge. We've got difficult times ahead in this age of post modernism with its dogmas and polarisation. He reinforces my conviction that everything we do in this life, no matter how small, reverberates and so contributes to the greater good. Our best weapons to combat the evil inside and around us is not to lie or be silent about we know and to be compassionate to people who are not yet knowing what we think we know. Evil comes from the absence of compassion. So guard your compassion carefully and speak out against people who tell you to hate others for whatever reason. Currently being rich, male, white, or whatever are seen as reasons to hate. It is never good to hate.

Very much like teachings in Zen Buddhism - for example, Zen Master Thich Naht Hanh talks about inter-being, of our continuity (no birth, no death in Buddhism, or as Tom says "we are the vessel for immortal stuff") and inter-connectedness. Excellent talk

E=mc2, Albert Einstein’s “Everything is relative.” In the simplest of terms, everything exists because of its relationship to “everything else everywhere”.  We are literally
a cousin to, a relative of the universe, a cousin to, a relative of our planet, and a cousin to, a relative of each other around the world.

I thoroughly enjoyed Tom's talk. In an essay I was inspired to write entitled, Brotherliness of the Universe, I incorporated much of what I heard for Tom, but learned from Christian Science, Abraham-Hicks, Wayne Dyer, Einstein, the Bible, and the premise of the "Butter-Fly" Effect and related it to what Tom spoke to:

Ancient Greek philosophers Parmenides, Socrates, Plato, and others thoughtfully espoused the idea that the universe is one. Our solar system is one. The Earth is one. The United States of America is One nation. California is one state. Los Angeles is one city. A community is one. A home is one. A person is one individual (Soul). Jesus carried this idea to the highest personal level when he said, “If thine eye (Mind) be single, thy whole body shall be full of light” (health-harmony) - each cell full of light.
The Body is one, comprised of trillions of cells within a System with infinite Quantum-Entanglements!
To be a complete mimesis of wholeness (oneness) of body, the foot, hand, head, heart, cell, etc. cannot express less health than any other part of that body, although some specific units may seem to serve what is commonly construed as less significant function. If the foot is injured or incapacitated, the integrity of the entire body is jeopardized (see St. Paul’s remarks in Romans, and II Corinthians, chapters 12). Therefore, it is a mandate to every constituent of a united body to maintain not only its own health, but to do everything possible to assist its “neighbor” to be healthy as well, not only for his neighbor’s sake but ultimately for his own well-being.
Heart, Breath, and Mind do most certainly comprise the "essence of Life!" Even a single-celled commitment to living is the Heart of survival; the Breath of Almighty Source gives inspired-understanding; while Mind controls all action! - All things happen for good to that which Loves Good! Good is the Truth to/for/from which All "bear-witness"! According to Abraham-Hicks, Infinite Intelligence is ever at work, converting "contrast" into harmonious function via deliberate thought, feeling, and inspired action. This is a very profound presentation. Yes, we are everything and nothing! The essence of the talk I felt presents Vedic philosophy. Yes, we are all connected and have to realize that like all the cells of our body, the individuals on the face of this earth(and also in the cosmos) are just a part of the Whole. "Think of the Butterfly Effect".
