I learned about this in science! Don’t want to write a whole essay about what it is but basically the theory is called “Continental Drift”. The theory was about when all the continents were one huge landmass called “Pangaea” because the east coast of South America and Africa looked like they fit together like puzzle pieces. The theory was made by a man named Alfred Wegener, it was also supported by how mountains in America were the same type of rock and age as the ones in Europe, there were also fossils of Mesosaurus’s which were freshwater reptiles at the tips of South America and Africa, they couldn’t have survived such a long journey in the salty ocean. Another fact was there were markings by glaciers; that looked like large scratches in Africa, but since its so hot in Africa the heat couldn’t support the glaciers, so perhaps it was closer to the poles when it was one large landmass. Finally, the only reason it was rejected by the scientific community was because he could never find out what force pushed the continents to the place they are now. Phew! That was a lot.

This would be catastrophic.
With such an extremely expansive land mass, it would be impossible for the Water Cycle to occur that far from the ocean shoreline.
Pangaea would just become the Australian Outback 2.0

I believe Pangea has already happened, and the next supercontinent still doesn't have a name. There are, however, multiple theories on how the continents will move next, with their own names, such as Novopangea and Amasia.

Billions of years ago, the continents were a major big land Called pangeae, due to a series of earthquakes, the land seperated and its true that australia was joined with asia and if you look closely that south america and africa fits perfectly right in .
