Amazing outing by Ryu. Hopefully he keeps this up and returns back into his 2013-2014 season form.

Nice to see Joc doing his part to look enticing as the centerpiece of an eventual trade package fairly soon. Moment Andrew Toles returns from his hamstring pull next week, BYE-BYE PEDERSON! Ryu outpitching Kershaw in that rotation right out of the gate, bet no one saw that coming...except me, of course. Walk year for him and probably didn't like how he was a "healthy scratch" from the postseason roster last year (hah). Too bad Ryu never showed Kershaw how to throw that dandy changeup of his or else the Dodgers would have a valid excuse to keep him from opting out of those remaining two years left on that contract this upcoming offseason. With Clayton's diminished velocity and increasing reliance on his slider, it's gonna be hard for him to maintain his dominance as a starting pitcher without an effective off-speed pitch for that matter.

Btw, that was an absolute BOMB Bellinger hit late in that game! When he finally realizes that inside breaking ball off the plate is not worth chasing, he'll start trending back up in the power category once again. He's too damn good not to, anyway...

I'm sorry, Dodgers fans, but when I see Ryu's name up there I expect the opponents to be forced to hit Hadouken blasts... 😂😂😂😂

Kinda half weird to see Kershaw of all guys on the staff start out with a losing record and Ryu is 3-0...normally the records reverse...
