My Boat Story - F25C Hull #33

Показать описание
After a few years of owning and racing beach catamarans, this is my first big boat. F25c Hull #33. It has been quite the journey to bring it from it's original condition when I purchased it on July 15th 2013 to where it is today. The work and sailing it has been a learning experience. From learning to work with Carbon and Epoxy, to spray paint for the first time. I have put over 1500 hours of work on the boat in one spring/summer combination. Only to drop the mast twice in the last summer (why you see a black hatch that needs to be painted). :-S

Just a fabulous job of bringing it back. Great looks! I am going to steal the anchoring harness idea, too

Beautiful boat, looks like you had to build it inside out. Looking forward to some sailing videos.

That's alot of work you did but now you have a rocket.
I built an F-9A in the early 90's with carbon over DuraCore in 2 years. It was no small undertaking.

Congratulations. I really admire what you've been able to do. I know just enough about it to appreciate the quality of the work and the fact that you kept it moving for a couple of years. (I also envy your double garage. I'm in Vancouver waiting for an "epoxy week" so I can finish a bow repair in the yard on our Corsair 24.)

Couldn't, do it.
Tried in vain to watch it, with the garbage muted.
Nah.
It'd be a half a million views by now probably, but you chose wrong.
Woof.
