They say you get 3/4 of a percent increase in payout, after your Full Retirement Age. Every month. If you don't cash out with social security.
And I haven't asked for benefits from SSecurity. I'm 68.5 years old. And was eligible for regular SS 100% at age 66.4.
But I became unemployed 3 months ago. And can't find a job.
I want to wait till age 70, to get the better benefit payout. If I don't pay in to SSecurity my last year and a half, till age 70, Do I still get a 3/4 increase each month until my final SSecurity benefit?

How do you justify reducing the Social Security benefits of those who worked and contributed the requisite number of years in non-government jobs just because later they became, for example, teachers who did not contribute to SS.

If I don’t take part B upon retirement… but retains federal employees insurance. If I take part B at later date, much later, will I be eligible to get Medicare supplement?

So I saw some lady on AARP that stated you can't claim your own SS and a survivors benefit

How do I fund the original claim number from SSA that said I owed $4k years ago?

Can SS take money from payments made to you as pay back for their mistaken misdirection of funds due you if they also claim to have overpaid you in a separate situation? Why wouldn't they give the same opportunity to pay over time just because you received money in one lump sum?
