Is KARABAKH really the HARDEST START in EU4?

EU4 Karabakh is said to be the hardest start in EU4... at least according to AlzaboHD. So today, I thought it'd be a good idea to see if we could take on this EU4 challenge and attempt to form Armenia! In my opinion, this is actually one of the most fun start in EU4! A unique religion surrounded by hostile nations, it can be quite tricky but what a great achievement!

Remember, Is KARABAKH really the HARDEST START in EU4?

Just a quick note - the coalition guaranteeing trick was removed in 1.33, a guarantee only gives a one sided truce now. Important if you will ever feel like you do want to cheese.

Holy smokes. As a formerly retired EU3 player, the opportunity to get EUIV and all DLC for just $20 is insane. Thank you for sharing this!

The reaction on the criteria for forming Armenia is true for all. The reaction to no mission tree or new ideas too

Eu4 and DLC for twenty quid really just makes me cringe at the financial decisions I've made over the last five years.

Here's a challenge run to try in the future: Chukchi Wild Ride - The Chukchi are a small peoples in far eastern Siberia, which used to believe that they were the only real humans in the world, believing all other humans were made only "half-humans" which only existed to help them out, ie: the russians selling them muskets to fight in their wars. Thus, a challenge I've always thought interesting, seeing their belief of themselves being the only true humans and all, is to attempt to take the Mandate of Heave from Ming as the Chukchi, properly reform the chinese bureaucracy, and *then* also colonize Alaska and the American west coast.

You have to take Adana because before the Seljuqs shoehorned themselves into the area, the Kingdom of Armenia stretched from the Med all the way to Karabakh, and the lands were inhabited by Armenians. This includes the city of Antioch and harkens back to the Patriarchate of Antioch, which is currently empty due to [Insert war crime reference here] reasons. Even before the Arab conquests of the Area the Eastern Romans termed everything that was not part of Pontus, Armenia, as seen in CK2.

We need to push the devs to make an Armenian mission tree. Restore greater Armenia means conquering most of the levant and Jerusalem as well as parts of Persia.

If this turns into a series, may I suggest the title: Baby Got Karabakh?

You should give them military access because they can't declare on you while they have it (AI won't declare if they're gonna take the 5 stab hit from mil access).

I really like this campaign. I hope you continue it as I really want to see you have to deal with the consequences of your warmongering.

5:19 fun fact! you can walk through zone of control if you control land in it on the other side.

I played Kharabakh a lot and if I expanded that fast I my economy would go into the dump with multiple disasters and rebels. And it would take the rest of the game to recover from the cycle. In the current patch the hardest part is no longer getting independence, but not collapsing afterwards .

You really did outgrow the coalition. They propably were fighting venice, byzantium and genoa while youve been expanding, but still, well done.
