2.05 minutes of trailer say he’d win. Tilda has a perfect gesture story telling. cinematography tells it all of the story even ive watched it thousand times and i just cant guess the mainline at all. Bravo to the country fellow.

What stands out the most for me about this director is that for being his first English based film, he still manages to stay true to his own voice as a director. You can't say that about a lot of directors. It's rare to see directors from non-English speaking countries to make English speaking films and maintain their unique authenticity. You'll see directors like Alfonso Cuaron, Dennis Villeneuve, or Alejandro Iñarritu, make great English speaking films but their English based films are mostly a Hollywood product. I get that this might sound arbitrary of a statement, but if you think about it, their American films are a far cry from their own true authentic/native voice. But in Memria, Weerasethakul stays true to his form from start to finish and that is quite an accomplishment.

I've just watched the whole trailer acidentally with no sound on and I found it very chic. After realising my mistake I decided not watch it again, just gonna sit with that e wait for the premiere.

It's been quite some time---I Am Love in 2009?---since Tilda Swinton played the lead character in a movie. And this looks very intriguing. Must watch!
