Pat Sajak Reveals Reason for 1-Day Job Switch With Vanna White on 'Wheel of Fortune'

You gotta give props to the show for not replacing Vanna White. Often you see women get "aged out" and replaced by younger, more attractive women. But Vanna has been at it for 37 years and still going strong.

Did you know, Vanna White's first time on a game show was not Wheel of Fortune! She appeared on The Price is Right as a contestant in 1980 (she never got on stage).

I watched this Show in Germany called "Glücksrad" when I was a little Boy. I habe learned to read and knowing the letztes in Pre-School better !! I loved it go patch with my brother or my Grandma ;) so great and I Played the PC Game on my old MS Dos PC and the Wheel of Fortune-Handhero (like a Gameboy) ♡

I remember they used to have Trebek and Sajak switch shows for april fools, i wonder if they still do that.

In 1973 Wheel of Fortune was actually called Shopper's Bazaar. Chuck Woolery & Susan Stafford was the first host. Pat Sajak joined in 1981. Vanna White joined in 1982. In 1997 Vanna used to turn letters, now she touches the letters.
